MONTEREY – The 2025 Coalinga College women's volleyball season came to a close with the No. 13-seeded Falcons 3-0 loss at No. 4 Monterey Peninsula College in Round 2 of the Northern California Regional Playoffs on Tuesday.

MPC won the postseason match by scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-22.

Amber Cerny led the Falcons with 8 kills and 4 aces while Kinnedy Miller and Aurora Sotelo each had 6 kills in the season finale. Jenna Vogt and Natalie Walsh both had 13 assists and Kambri Mckeeman led with 11 digs.

Coalinga has reached the playoffs in four of the last six seasons under head coach Jeff Wanderer (2025, 2024, 2023, 2019). The Falcons closed the 2025 season with a 16-11 overall record after finishing third in the Central Valley Conference South Division at 4-4.

Following the close of the regular season, the Falcons earned eight All-Central Valley Conference South Division postseason honors:
