COALINGA – Aurora Sotelo totaled 13 kills and 11 digs to lead Coalinga College in a 3-0 sweep of visiting Merced College in a Central Valley Conference interdivision match on Wednesday.

The 25-20, 25-19, 25-12 victory improved the Falcons to 12-9 overall this season.

Sotelo was effective on both ends of the court and also served up three aces. Amber Cerny had another solid game on offense with 8 kills while Kinnedy Miller added 6 kills.

Kambri Mckeeman chipped in with 10 digs and Jenna Vogt had a team-best 15 assists to go along with 7 digs and 3 aces.

The Falcons are back in action on Friday (Oct. 31) with a CVC South Division match at College of the Sequoias.
