LEMOORE – Freshman Aurora Sotelo totaled team-bests with 17 kills and 13 digs to help lead Coalinga College to a marathon 3-2 win over district-rival Lemoore College at Golden Eagle Arena on Friday.

The Falcons took the match in five sets by scores of 21-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-19, 16-14 to improve to 9-5 overall and 1-1 in the Central Valley Conference.

Amber Cerny contributed 12 kills on offense with Jenna Vogt posting 21 assists to go along with 4 aces. Kambri Mckeeman added 11 digs, Jazlyn Perez had 10 digs while Natalie Walsh chipped in with 16 assists and 6 digs.

Coalinga has won three of its last four and is back in action on Wednesday (Oct. 8) at 6 p.m. with an away match at No. 5 state-ranked Taft College.
