| Title: | Head Rodeo Coach |
Brooke Jackson has been named the new head coach of the Coalinga College Rodeo team for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
Jackson is proud to return home to Coalinga College, formerly West Hills College, where it all began. A proud alumna of the institution, she now serves as Head Rodeo Coach and Director of Rodeo Operations, bringing with her a wealth of experience, a deep passion for the sport, and a genuine commitment to the student-athletes she serves.
Jackson previously served as the women's rodeo coach at West Hills College for over a decade, also holding roles as an assistant coach and recruiter with extensive experience in all facets of college rodeo operations. Throughout her coaching career, she has worked with high-level rodeo athletes across multiple disciplines, earning a reputation for developing competitors who excel both in the arena and in the classroom. Her coaching philosophy centers on academic success, leadership, horsemanship, and equipping students with the tools they need to thrive long after their college careers are over.
Raised in the western lifestyle and deeply rooted in the ranching industry, Jackson is a passionate advocate for agriculture, rodeo, and the preservation of western traditions. Her competitive accomplishments speak for themselves — she is the 2018 California's Richest Team Roping Champion and a back-to-back 2025 and 2026 Art of the Cowgirl All-Women's Team Roping Champion, bringing a competitor's edge and credibility that resonates with her athletes.
Jackson resides in the Central Valley with her husband, Chance, and their two children, Raleigh and Rawlins.
She is incredibly honored to lead the rebuilding of the Coalinga College Rodeo Program and is dedicated to creating lasting opportunities for the next generation of rodeo athletes.
