COALINGA – The Coalinga College winning streak is now at three games after the Falcons dismissed a tough College of the Siskiyous squad by a final score of 42-23 at the Memorial Bowl on Saturday afternoon.

After opening the season looking overwhelmed in a pair of losses, Coalinga heads into the bye week with a 3-2 overall record.

Siskiyous got off to a 3-0 start and was appeared to be one of the top teams in the American Division. But the Falcons handed them their second consecutive loss to drop COS to 3-2.

Coalinga will now take the extra week off to refocus and prepare for its American Golden Coast League opener set for Oct. 11 at Cabrillo College in Aptos. The Seahawks head into that contest with a 1-4 overall record and were dismantled 83-7 at Feather River College on Saturday night.
