West Hills College Coalinga head football coach Justin Berna announced that 13 of 15 sophomores from the 2017 team have transferred to four-year universities across the country.
Several of the former Falcons have landed at NCAA Division I programs, including: DB Tariq Irving (Morgan State), DE/LB Eric Powell (Mississippi Valley State), DB Andreaz Spencer (South Alabama), and All-American OL Apefai Taifane (Cal Poly).
"We want to congratulate all of our sophomores who have succesfully completed academic requirements to continue their education at the next level," said Berna.
"We look forward to following their progress and keeping in contact throughout their season. Everyone at West Hills is proud of all of them, and we hope they continue to do the things that made them successful as Falcon student-athletes."
