Tim Culver was named West Hills College Coalinga baseball head coach in September of 2021. He was previously the assistant baseball coach at West Hills from 2017 to 2020.

During Coach Culver’s time as an assistant coach, his support and focus on academics led the team to earn the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award in 2019-2020. The award recognizes teams with a grade point average of over 3.0. West Hills was one of just five community colleges to earn the award that year.

Prior to starting at WHCC, Culver was an assistant coach at Fresno Pacific University. He was also the head coach for the Fresno A’s Collegiate Summer Team. During his time as the Fresno A’s head coach, he took them to the NBC World Series in Witchita, Kansas in 2017. 
 
Culver’s playing career began at Lancaster High School and took him to Pasadena City College, Mississippi Valley State University, Moorpark College, and Fresno Pacific University. Coach Culver was part of the inaugural team at Fresno Pacific University in 2006.

Coach Culver and his wife Katy have one daughter: Jordynn.
