Coalinga College has named Rudy Amaya from the baseball team and softball's Breanna Cisneros its Student-Athletes of the Month for April.

Rudy Amaya, Baseball (Sophomore, Pitcher, Lemoore HS / Lemoore, CA)
Rudy has earned Player of the Month honors with a pair of dominant outings on the mound that set the tone for his team. Against Fresno City, he delivered a strong performance, going 5.1 innings while allowing just three earned runs and keeping his team in a competitive position. He followed that up with an even more impressive start against Taft, where he was in complete control, throwing six innings and giving up only two earned runs.

Across both appearances, Rudy showcased consistency, poise, and the ability to compete deep into games, solidifying himself as a reliable and impactful presence in the rotation.

Breanna Cisneros, Softball (Sophomore, Middle Infielder, Ramona HS / Riverside, CA)
Breanna put together a standout month at the plate, hitting an impressive .412 with 7 hits, including 2 doubles, while collecting 3 RBIs. She consistently found ways to get on base, posting a strong .500 OBP and delivering quality at-bats in key moments.

Beyond the numbers, Breanna was a steady and reliable presence for her team, competing every pitch and setting the tone offensively while playing flawless defense with a perfect fielding percentage.
