Coalinga College would like to congratulate its Student-Athletes of the Week, Adam Abboud (Baseball), Whylkeem Estimond (Men’s Basketball), and Niliah Gruver (Softball)!

Adam Abboud, Baseball (Sophomore, Pitcher, Diamond Bar HS / Diamond Bar, CA)
Adam was a bright spot for the Falcons during a grueling week of play. He came and pitched in relief in each of the three contests this week and did not allow a run, totaling two strikeouts and a walk.

Whylkeem Estimond, Men’s Basketball (Freshman, Forward, Golden Gate HS / Golden Gate, FL)
“Keem” has made a strong return to the lineup, averaging 10.5 rebounds over his last two games and providing a consistent presence in the paint. Beyond the stats, Whylkeem continues to be a great role model both on campus and on the court, leading by example every day through his effort, attitude, and commitment to the team.

Niliah Gruver, Softball (Sophomore, Catcher/Utility, Clovis West HS / Clovis, CA)
Niliah delivered an outstanding week both offensively and defensively, making a major impact for her team on both sides of the game. She consistently came through in key moments and proved herself as a dominant presence in our lineup. Her performance, effort, and reliability set the tone and make her a well-deserving Player of the Week. She compiled a 457 batting average with 11 RBIs.
