Coalinga College would like to congratulate its Student-Athletes of the Week, Damion "DB" Bess from men's basketball, Kade Gerboc-Chun from the baseball team, and Ashley Rudziewicz of softball!

Damion "DB" Bess, Men's Basketball (Freshman, Forward, Hoover HS / Fresno, CA)
"DB" had a strong week on and off the court, showing growth, consistency, effort, and leadership. He competed with high energy, stayed locked in defensively, and made smart plays that helped his team in key moments over the past two games. Beyond the game, Damion is on track to complete his degree by the end of the spring semester. His dedication and growth make him a deserving Student-Athlete of the Week.

Kade Gerboc-Chun, Baseball (Freshman, Catcher, Faith Lutheran HS / Manoa, HI)
Kade is the player of the week for the Falcons, leading the offense at the plate by having an unconscious line of 5 for 7 with two doubles, two stolen bases, an RBI, and 5 runs scored. He also added a walk and a hit by pitch to improve his on base percentage for the weekend to .777. He accounted for 66% of the teams total offense.

Ashley Rudziewicz, Softball (Freshman, Third Base, Lancaster HS / Lancaster, CA)
Ashley has made an immediate impact since joining the program, showing leadership and consistency on the field. She currently leads the team in batting average, hitting .500 (4-for8) with 3 home runs and 6 RBI.
