MBB: Arce, Scott, Coulanges Earn All-CVC Honors

A trio of West Hills Falcons were selected to the 2016-17 All-Central Valley Conference Team by league coaches on Sunday.

Sophomore point guard Troy Arce and sophomore center Steven Coulanges were named First Team All-CVC, while freshman wing Darius Scott was voted All-Freshman.

Arce was also picked for the All-CVC Defensive Team for the second consecutive season.

Sophomore forward Romario Saunders (17.7 ppg) was an Honorable Mention.

Arce led the conference in assists (5.9 apg) and assist/turnover ratio (3.3). He ranked seventh in steals (1.7 spg) while averaging 8.1 points per contest.

Coulanges averaged 16.2 points per game in conference (ninth best), while his 9.4 rebounds per game ranked second among CVC players. His field goal percentage (61.4) ranked third.

Scott was the team's third leading scorer (16.0 ppg), as he ranked third in CVC 3-point shooting (42.1). He also led the CVC in free throw percentage (87.9).
