Falcons Land 11 On All-League Team

West Hills College Coalinga announced that 11 members from the 2016 Northern California American Division championship team were selected First Team All-Golden Coast League.

As three-time GCL champions, the Falcons also had the most players on the all-league team - six on offense and five on defense.

Leading the way was two-time All-GCL selection sophomore LB Ualesi Sale (Aiea, HI). He was joined on defense by freshmen defensive linemen Darrian McMillan (Mobile, AL) and Ebone Caldwell (Corona, CA).

A pair of Falcon defensive backs were chosen: sophomore captain Justin Hayden (St. Peters, MO) and freshman Tranealius Abrams (Mobile, AL).

On offense, freshman RB Kimauni Johnson (Youngstown, OH) was voted All-GCL, among a talented group of WHCC tailbacks.

Sophomore OG Omar Cortes (Avenal, CA) and freshman C Jeremy Wilmer (Taft, CA) represented the offensive line, while freshman WR Brandon Sanchez (Hanford, CA) and freshman TE Thomas Odukoya (Amsterdam, NLD) were also selected.

Freshman K Cameron Horsting (Tulare, CA), who led the league in scoring and field goal percentage, was the only kicker on the All-GCL team.
