Full-Time Instructor/Head Baseball Coach

Salary: $60,814.00 - $102,077.00 Annually

Job Description
West Hills College Coalinga (WHCC) is offering a full-time, tenure track position to teach courses as assigned and provide direction for all facets of a successful college baseball program in conformance with all State, Conference and District policies and regulations. WHCC is seeking a candidate to provide coaching, student engagement, and expertise in an academic discipline that will contribute to the program, Athletics Department, and college. The College is seeking a candidate to bring innovation to the program as well as dynamic approaches to coaching, teaching, learning, and student development focused on student success. The candidate will be responsible for teaching courses at any of the district sites. Additional responsibilities include involvement in instructional area activities, advising, development and review of curriculum, participation in student recruitment and work with other faculty on interdisciplinary issues. The candidate should be able to incorporate current technology and pedagogy including using instructional technology in the classroom and various distance learning strategies in their teaching. Faculty members are required to participate on faculty committees and assume other co-curricular responsibilities and work with members of the academic department in a variety of professional activities.
