1. WHC Application for Admission
The Application for Admission is free. If you have not already applied, you may do so here. When you are finished with the application, there will be a link to take you to the free application for financial aid (FAFSA).
2. Financial Aid Application (FAFSA)
This is a must! Even if you know that you do not qualify! NO financial assistance can be given unless the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is completed. This is the most time consuming step, but perhaps the most important! Here's how to apply:

3. Placement Assessment
You may take a placement test at any community college. However, to find out about placement tests through West Hills click here. The score from that test will allow our advising staff to accurately place you in the appropriate math and/or English class.
4. Housing
There are two options for our baseball players: 1) live off campus (i.e. apartment), or 2) live on campus. If you are planning on living in the residence halls on campus, click here. 5. Choose Your Courses
All athletes must be enrolled in at least 12 units during the season. Consult the Schedule of Classes to see what is available. The courses you need to take specifically for baseball in the Fall are:
PE 23 Weight Training (1 unit)
PE 38 Theory of Baseball (1 unit)
PE 43 Fundamentals of Baseball (1 unit)
6. Registering
Once you have chosen the classes you need, register for classes here, go to and click on the link labeled “MyWestHills”, log in and simply follow the instructions. If you are having any problems signing up for classes, or you need to make changes to your schedule, contact the student services office at (559) 934-2300 or Coach Curran at (559) 934-2458.
7. Physical Exam
Physical exams are done throught the athletic training office prior to the start of the season. |
