Athletic Facilities

ere

Above is an aristist's rendering of the now finished Wellness Center.  The $12 million athletic facility was completed in June of 2011 and included beautiful landscaping, architecture, and amenities.

Wellness Center
Included in the finished product are new locker rooms, a new floor for in the gym, new coaches offices, a new training facility, and a state-of-the-art weightroom and fitness center.  The latter includes all new free weights, excercise bikes and treadmills, fitness equipment and two big screen TV's.  The weightroom sits within 30 feet of the baseball field, making it a convenient opportunity for West Hills Baseball to train in a centralized area.

Keith Scrivner Field

With the arrival of Coach Curran in 2011 came the arrival of some updates to Keith Scrivner Field.  Aggressive fundraising by the Falcon program has allowed the field to receive several updates since his hiring in August of 2011, including:

--New batting cage turf

--New batting cage netting

--New windscreens for exising fencing

--New 2 3/4" backstop padding

--New cementing around entire bleacher area

--New $5,000 Ryan Express batting cage

--60,000 lbs. of warning track dirt

--50,000 lbs. of infield mix

Arriving in 2013 will be a new fencing project.  Vinyl privacy slats will be inserted onto fencing in place of windscreens and a 4' fence will be built down the right field line to help enclose the field.  West Hills Baseball is looking to always upgrade its facilities to give student-athletes a positive and exciting experience while a member of the West Hills family.
